In the afternoon, however, a stiong north-wester proved lather puzzling, and was responsible for a considerable amount, of inferior play. In the doubles championship Sneddon and Crawford (Kaituua) proved the winners. with .Johnson and Smith (Dunedin) the runner* up. Wallace and Ua-ities secured thiid place, and McDonald and Buchanan fourth. The singles championship fell to Brackenridge (Victoria. Wellington Sneddon (Kaituna) being set olid. Findlay (Invereargill) third, and 0. J. Wilson (Core) fourth. In addition to the tournament games links r< present ing Dunedin mot and defeated a couple of Wellington teams. To-morrow morning a three-rink match will he played between Dumdin and Christehurcii. Results are as follows : DOIBLFS CHAMPIONSHIP.
