THE RECIPROCAL TREATY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, Tucsd; The reciprocal Customs treaty Ivtvn South Africa and New Zealand is gazer]. It provides that the duties on goods l« produce or manufacture of New Zeajd imported by the South African > lonies (Cape Colony, Natal, Orar*; River Colony. Transvaal, and Soto. em Rhodesia) shall be:—Bran, 1' Hour, 2s 3d; oats, Is lOd; wheat, V per cental. Butter, 2d per lb; cheese, 1' per cent, ad valorem. Meats, Id per 11 All other goods, except spirits, 25 per cent less than the duty which would otherwis be paid. Duties on goods or manufactures th produce of the South African colonies in ported by New Zealand will Iks:—Feather. 15 percent, ad valorem; fish, l{d per. lb fruits, dried and green, free ; maize, 6d sugar, Is 8d per cental; tobacco, manufa< lured, 2s 6d per T7>; tea not otherwis exempt, Id per lb; wines other tha sparkling, 2s per gallon ; wines, sparklim 5s per gallon ; all other goods, excep spirits, 25 per cent, less than the dut which would otherwise be paid.
