At the inquest on the -body of the man Bradford, found stabbed at Hurry Hills, yesterday, the evidence of neighbour showed that the prisoner, Mrs. Bradford, is a Spaniard, arid that she had been mar ried to Bradford for less than a year. They were constantly quarrelling, and tho husband frequently ill-treated her. Just prior to the tragedy Mrs. Bradford asked a policeman to arrest her husband for trying to throttle her, but the policeman declined to make the arrest-. She told the neighbours that she had got her Spanish blood op, and had H knifed" him. A verdict of "■wilful murder" was returned against Mrs. Bradford.
