♦ ■ M. BRIAND'S ACTION. STRONG PARLIAMENTARY APPROVAL. Br Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright. Paris, November H. The Chamber of Deputies, by 416 votes to 163, has expressed confidence in the administration by th*e Minister, for the Interior (M. Briand) of the Separation Law and approval of his complete enforcement of the law. M. Briand intimated that the Government would not resume relations with the Pope, even indirectly, but would show a conciliatory attitude. He warned the Right party that unless they followed the Pope's advice and kept quiet they would have to deal with a Government backed by all the forces of the law.
