FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE AUCTIONEERING CO.

[Br TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] bridge, Saturday. Two dozen farmers attended the adjourned meeting: to-day to discuss the proposal to eonvert MoNicol and Co.'s auctioneering business into a farmers' co-operative auctioneering company. As at the former meeting discussion ensued on the absence from the proposals of rebate to buyer, but it was pointed out that such an arrangement was impossible. Several speakers failed to see where co-operation came in, but Mr. Jos. Barugh argued that the company would be on cooperative lines, as every shareholder would derive a benefit. A motion was carried agreeing to the proposal to purchase the business, and run it as a farmers' co-opera-tive auctioneering company. Discussion also took place on a proposal that a suitable horse bazaar be erected on or near the old site, in the centre of the township, in time for the neat spring horse fairs. There was a consensus of opinion that such' a bazaar should be erected, a motion to that effect being carried unanimously.
