SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.
[BV TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. Jas. Stanih.'ry, ex-champion sculler of the world . who is to race Webb, the New Zealand champion, for £200 a-side, on Boxing Day, left Wellington for Wanganui this morning. It is reported that a match, to be rowed in Wellington about the middle of January, has been arranged between the veteran W. ffearn, and Stan bury. Hearn will hi given 30s start in a mile.
