i [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ! Waihi, Friday. 1 At the Borough Council meeting last night the Mayor's honorarium was fixed at £100, the same ■ as last year. It was resolved that £25 be granted to the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. The 1 Chairman (Mr. .1. Foster) referred to the necessity i for better drainage in some of the congested parts of the town, and ou his motion it was resolved 1 that the engineer be instructed to give the matter his attention. J At a meeting of the Wailii Cricket Association . last night it was resolved that unfinished matches , be completed at the end •of each round. The \ three senior captains were appointed a selection [ committee for representative matches. The junior i. round was drawn as follows;—Y.M.l.C. v. West, October 20; Y.M.I.C. v.
