It is intended to hold a croquet tourna-., merit, in aid of St. Mark's Church Guild, during the months of November and December. The competition, being a novelty and open to all players in the city and suburbs, promises to bo a great success. Many valuable prizes have been donated. A strong ladies' committee lias been formed, and they will be ; glad to give information to intending competitors. Further details aro advertised. ,
