A ZULU CHIEFSHIP.

FRESH TROUBLE FEARED. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. London, September 29. The London 'Daily Telegraph's Pietermaritzburg correspondent reports that there are apprehensions there of a serious rising of natives in Northern Zululand unless the successorship to the deceased chief Sebepu, the late King Cetewayo's cousin, is handled with the utmost tact. An infant son has been appointed under a regent, but. 16 of the headmen are supporters of Msenteli, another son, who is a claimant. These headmen persist in inciting discontent among the natives, and Msenteli is bringing a lawsuit to secure a share of his father's possessions. He is also appealing to Lord Elgin, on the ground that he has been harshly and unjustly treated.
