Dick Arn.st. who is going for rowing honours, and was supposed to have retired from cycling, caught the fever again recently, and intended to start- in the 50 miles road championship of New South Wales, which he won last year. His supporters, who are hoping that be will be the world's sculling champion, however, vetoed the proposal, and he had to stand down.
