TELEGRA PHIC INTERRUPTION.
[by TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Gisisohn'e, Monday. Trlkgraphic communication, which was interrupted all day Saturday, was not restored until twenty minutes to five p.m. on Sunday, when the break in the wires between Wharerata and Opoutama was repaired by a lineman, who had been sent out from Gisborne; The fault was most difficult of detection, and' the line was traversed three tinier before it was discovered. This is the second break in the line within/ a month, and the third within three months, and in order to minimise Interruptions and consequent inconvenience ,to business people, the Department are being urged to (ill in the gap of 12 miles between Wharerata and Morere, which would give Gisborne a second line of communication with the outside world., ■, .
