TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED, LTD.
Sir,— Interested" is evidently built ol the same material as "A Shareholder,'' judging- from his letter appearing- 'in your issue of to-day. It is a pity " Interested" has hot studied ii little about mining (but that probably would bo too much exertion), for ho then;might have grasped what a wonderful (?) effect the keeping of a share register (be it kept at Karangahako or Auckland) would have upon the development and management of the nunc workings. "Interested" considers further reforms should be effected, and 1 would suggest to him, seeing lie claims a. right "to be kept abreast of what .is talcing place," to have a copy of the share register posted to all shareholders quarterly, as it is such a great insight into the development the mine. Maybe "Interested" and Shareholder" are probably the solo owners of ten shares each, and therefore entitled to see all three-weekly reports before the directors 111 London have them. July 10. Old Speculator.
