Sir,—Kindly allow me space in your most valuable paper to appeal to readers throughout the colony for a much-needed want in the-Far North. During my visits I have come across settlers living " miles from anywhere," who would gladly receive any good, wholesome reading mutter which often is destroyed in the city. Without saying ruoro I appeal to all who would care to make an honest heart, or two happier to send along (accompanied by a small note or postcard, to allow mc to return thanks) any literature o'f .a suitable nature. One dear friend, a young man, is schoolmaster where the average attendance is five per dasHo is practically isolated, and would welcome any good," wholesome reading. Who will help by sending any finished magazines, papers, and such like? .R. Goskbll, . ' Home Missionary. Motukaraka, Hokiansa.
