DAY OF REST FOR WORKERS. By Telesrapli.— Association.—Oopyriffht. (Received July 11. 9.58 p.m.) Paris, July 11. The French Chamber, by 575 votes to one, has passed a law making it compulsory that all wage-earners shall receive a weekly day of rest. The Senate already has approved of the law. In France Sunday is devoted to both work and pleasure. The cablegram does sot explain -.' whether one day uks to be nationally observed, or whether any day may be given.
