Mr. Winston 'Churchill, UnderSecretary for the Colonies, speaking at Altrincham last evening, urged the constituencies to be prepared to support the Government in the event of their being brought into collision with the House of Lords, which he described as an unsound and irresponsible .assembly, which had become the. partisan weapon of one particular -faction in the: State.
