I'lio fine Tyaei' liner Marere, Captain J. C. Feb gate, arrived from London. Melbourne, and Sydney yesterday morning, and after the usual inspection berthed at the Queen-street Wharf to discharge her cargo of general 'merchandise. The steamer has made a very smart voyage, it being only 58 days since the left the Home, port, and if the had not been detained by bad weather at Melbourne, the time, occupied on the voyage would have been reduced by several days. Captain Felgate. who brings his steamer into port, in her usual neat order, reports: Hie Marere left London on May 13 and arrived at Melbourne on June 20 after an uneventful voyage. On discharge of cargo the steamer proceeded to, Sydney, and after putting out further consignments left for Auckland on Thursday last.. Experienced sttong we*t to south-west gales and heavy rain sqnalle crossing the Tasmn/r Sea. Passed Cape Maria Van Dienien at 10.30 a.m. on Monday and made port as above. The Marere leave* for Napier and tho South on Saturday to load cargo for South Africa and London, proceeding: to Australia .complete her, loading. ■
