' The gunboat Sparrow, which was lent to New Zealand for 'draining purposes, has been sold by the Admiralty, to the Government 6f the colony* £800. She. is to be rechristened the Richard John Seddon. (Cabinet will, it is understood, take steps jit once to bring into operation the scheme
in connection with which the Sparrow was
obtained from the Admiralty last year. . The original -jost of the vessel is believed "" to have been about £75,000.
