NO. 1. NATIVE RIFLES. The sheet for Lieutenant Atkinson's trophy took place on Saturday last at Penrose rifle ranee. The conditions for this trophy provide that it is to foe won twice in succession or three times at interval?. The trophy ha* been won outright by Corooral Stephens, he having won it twice in suetension. The following were the (scores at 300 rd* and 60flvds rantref- with one siuhter at each — Corporal Stephens. 34 fit 300 yd» and ?fl at 600 yd», total 52; Sergeant C. Smith.. 24 and 26. totai o0: Coreotal Lucas. 23 and 25. total 4R; Sergeant Busby. 11 and 20, total 31. •
