Tho cool weather of yesterday induced a good number to visit the Palace of Amusements in Coburg-stroet, and in the evening especially there was a largo attendance of skaters, who spent a most enjoyable time. THOMAS' SCHOOLROOM.

Au entertainment in aid of the parish funds was hold in St. Thomas' ■ schoolroom, Union-street, last evening. There was a large attendance. An excellent programme of songs, recitations, and , readings visa given, and was much appreciated. The contributors were Mesdames Suggalo and FitxGerald, the Rev. J,. FitaGerald, and Messrs. Rowe, T. Dunninghani, and Richmond. Th» second part of the programme consisted of a humorous comedietta entitled "The Little Sentinel," which was exceptionally well played, and was productive of much amusement. The characters were sustained by the following: Miss May Henderson, Mrs. Suggate, and Messrs. Suggate, T. Dunningham, and A. J. Richmond.
