During the Shanghai riots recently, it would seem almost as if some of the marines who r> protected the settlement must have * been going about in pyjamas and wearing long - hair like girls : for the following is one of the orders for the British navy men at H.B.M.'s Consulate: " A church parade will be held 011 Sunday next, foK which men must be properly dressed. Night clothing is never to be. worn in the daytime, and attention is called to the- fact that a great many men's hair requires cutting."—Japan Times, Tokio.
