DEATH FROM MISADVENTURE.

, Dunedin, Tuesday. At the inquest on an infant named Bertram Henry - Warrington, the evidence showed that the nurse asked for some glycerine ,to Ijive to the child, and was directed to a bottlt on the mantelpiece. There were two bottles, one with pure • glycerine, and the other containing glycerine and carbolic acid. She gave a teaspconful from the latter to the infant, which ultimately died. The jury returned a verdict of death from misadventure.
