Mr. Myers, who was appearing for the Crown, said there was a tendency in som*- places where they knew a man was going to plead guilty to an indictable offence not to take tile, full evidence Mr. Justice Denniston replied that ii was in just such eases as those where the iftill evident r. was most important. rbo particular depositions before him were most disgraceful, and it seemed to have h-i<m taken for '/ranted that they were going through a form that did not matter.
