The annual meeting of the Ngaruawahia Regatta Association was held on Thursday. Sir. I'ltstpatrick presided. The annual report and balance-sheet were presented.. The latter showed a small debit balance of £27 18s 11(1. This fact is to be explained bv the increase of prize money. and the very unfavourable weather on regatta day. The railway receipts showed a falling oft' of £19. as compared with the. previous year The expenses had •bean'£l43 2a sd, as against £122 10s 3d in 1935.
