SEVERE WEATHER IN OTAGO.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— -ASSOCIATION'.] . DuNEmx, Saturday. The severity of the weather in the Lakes district of Central Otago of late may be gauged from the fact that a gentleman who is at present managing a station there states that the estimated loss is -£12,000, ciiiefiy through .sheep perishing in the snow. Some farmers did not harvest a single bushel of grain from what promised t> be splendid crops.
