PACIFIC CABLE REFORMS. : WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY INQUIRIES. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— London, May 31. Sir Joseph Ward and the Australian Postmaster-General have discussed the Pacific Board's arrangements with a view to removing the existing difficulties and achieving economies. They hope to place • matters on a more satisfactory [ footing and to secure ;> larger share of business for the cable. The manager of the Pacific Board ' (Mr. Reynolds), who is now in Australia. will await Mr. Chapman's re- - turn to Melbourne. The Board has i resolved to dispense with coloured I labour on its vessels. Mr. Chapman has discussed with the Marconi Company's manager the question of establishing wireless comr munication between Queenscliff and C Tasmania. He also received overl tares from the International and the ' German companies. " Sir Joseph Ward inspects the InI ternational system while in America.
