London", May (>. Ax attempt was made in Moscow yesterday to assassinate Admiral Dubasoff, the Governor-General. A bomb that was thrown wounded the Admiral in the foot and killed his aide-de-camp and a sentry.

(Received Slay 7. 11.29 p.m.) St. Petersburg, May 7. The man who threw Iho bond) at Admiral Dubasoff was wearing naval uniform, and carried a forged passport. He himself was killed, his head being blown off.

The explosion was heard for miles around.

Besides the aide-de-camp and the sentry, four others were killed.

It is officially staled that Admiral Dubasoff had a marvellous escape, but the Standard's Moscow correspondent learns that lie was badly wounded in the leg, side, and arm.

The constitutional and democratic leaders in St. Petersburg say they are glad that the attempt on Admiral Dubasoff. failed, but a minority of the parly express exultation, and regret tnat the attempt was not successful.
