Hitherto the negotiations regarding the Sinai Peninsula have taken place between the Khedive of Egypt and the Sultan of Turkey. The Sultan has replied to the Khedive definitely refusing to withdraw his troops from Tabah. The further discussion of the matter will now take place between the British Government and the Sultan. THE BRITISH REINFORCEMENTS. (Received April 26. 11.53 p.m.) London". April 26. The Sixth (lnniskilling) Dragoons, [ now stationed at Dublin, have been ; ordered to Egypt. An unconfirmed report says the First Division of the Aldershot Army Corps, under General Sir John French, has been/ instructed to prepare for service abroad. It is hinted that the division is to be sent to South Africa, but it is more likely, if the report be confirmed, that it will be sent to Egypt.

The first division of the army corps is commanded by Major-General Paget, and the brigade commanders arc Brigadier-Gene-rals Lloyd and Alderson.

ALL ENGLISH PARTIES AGREED. NO MEDDLING WILL BE ALLOWED. London. April 25. The Times says that Egypt is willing that a mixed Commission should delimit the frontier of the Sinai Peninsula, provided that the Turkish troops which have occupied Tab ah and Gatiah are withdrawn. It warns the Sultan against making a dangerous experiment, and adds that the sooner he withdraws from his illegal and provocative occupation of the peninsula the better, as it is the settled resolve of all parties in Great Britain not to allow anybody to meddle with or mar the great work accomplished in Egypt.
