Ikvercargilt., Friday. The police have been rousing out some undesirable characters suspected of recent shop-breaking. Joe Foggan, Chas. Mason, alias McDonald, and William Maley were to-day sent to gaol for three months as idle and disorderly persons, who consorted with reputed and convicted thieves. Jas. McCoy, alias, Percy Lagal, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment yesterday on a similar charge. .... ;
