VISIT OF ENGLISH LABOUR LEADERS.

Wellington, Friday. Mi:. IvEiit Hakdik, M.P., and Mr. Kam.'-ay MaeDonald. M.P., two well-known English Labour leaders, have written to a local resident bearing upon then proposed visit to New Zealand. Mr Hardie writes: —"Arrangements for the visit of the Labour members of Parliament depend upon whether an autumn session is held or not, and wo shall not know'that for some time.'* Mr. MacDonald says: "I am afraid we shall have to be very careful in Now Zealand, as we really want to see and hear all side*. W« are still doubtful »> to whether we should accept invitations to address purely political meetings unless the} are got up on broad Labour lines. We shall have to us© the greatest discretion, so' as to fulfil the programme we have before us."
