SUCCESSFUL LAND SALE.

GISBORNE, Monday. A very successful sale of Patutalii, Buckley, and M'otu sections' was Held to-day by the Lands Department. lliere was a very substantial increase on the upset prices, and in some cases four times the amount was given. Many of the purchasers were afterwards offered increases on the amounts paid.
