HOOKEY.
The Auckland Hockey Club hold their annual general meeting in the rooms of the Auckland Sports Club next Tuesday evening. - ' The St. George's Rowing Club intend entering teams for the championship matches this season. They formed a hockey club last year, but were too late to compete for championship honours. ' • The annual meeting of the Auckland Hockey Association will be held shortly after Easier, so all the clubs should -hold their meetings as soon as possible. There is some talk of the North Shore Rowing Club forming a hockey club. There are already two or three players connected with the rowing club, and it should not be difficult to Rot a coupTS of teams going. . It'is likely that most of the championship matches will be played at Dilworth's paddock, Remuera, this season. '■
