The Citizens' Life Assurance Company has arranged for the purchase of £50,000 of Christchurch Tramway Board debentures. The same company recently purchased £250,000 of New Zealand Government debentures, and during the past twelve months it has invested half a million sterling in debentures in New Zealand Government and local bodies' loans.
