THE SCHOONER AOTEA.
HIGHER UP ON THE BEACH. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisborne, Friday. The stranded schooner Aotea lies upon the beach at Waipiro Bay, but is apparently safe from high seas. Most of the cargo has been discharged. Suitable gear for floating the vessel was not obtainable in Gisborne.
