Palmerston* North. Wednesday. The annual meeting of the Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held to-day. The profits for the year were reported to Ix 3 £742 lis 9d. The retiring president (Mr. Cohen) referred to the agricultural and pastoral industry on the West Coast, between Ckaki and New Plymouth. He said the value of the export of butter and cheese from the ports between New Plymouth and Wellington, to March 51. 1906, was £1.155,562. The total prize money distributed in 10 veare bv the Man a wain society was £10,446; £4812 had been paid in salaries and labour, and £4000 for contracts. etc.. bringing into circulation alto-•-■ether £19.25-8. It was decided to hold a horse show on' the lines of the Dublin Horse Show in 1907.
