[bt telegraph .-—press'association.] Wellington, Wednesday. So far the space taken by local exhibitors at the New Zealand International Exhibition in Christ church is 2880 ft, representing fees of £231-15-3. -

Mclntyre. travelling representative of the International Exhibition, spent two days her© this week in connection with the North Ota go bay at the exhibition. Promises of space w ere given by a number of manufacturers, rind others promised pro- ! bable support. - The space taken here amounts to over 900 ft, atiti it is confidently i expected that the Advisory Committee will jbe able to apply for 1500 ft to 2000 ft. It is j intended that the bay shall specially exhibit woo'., grain, seeds, and other produce of this district, and Waitaki. The County Council to-day voted £100 towards the expenses, which with £20 each from the Borough .Council, Harbour Board, and Agricultural and Pastoral Association. will place a .sum of £160 at the disposal of the committee.
