LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN.

London, February 25. The Minister for War (Mr. Haldane) has approved of the formation of a "Legion of Frontiersmen" in the colonies,- to assist in the defence of the Empire in emergency, and provide small bodies of capable and daring pioneers carefully trained to act as intelligence agents, guides, and scouts.
