MUNICIPAL MARKETS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.]
Wellington, Wednesday. At a public meeting held to-night, presided over by the Mayor, in which the Trades and Labour Council was the moving spirit, it was decided that urgent necessity existed for establishing municipal markets in the city, and a deputation was appointed to wait on- the City Council with reference to the matter.
