The appointment of Dr. A. T. M. Blair, Dunedin. to bo junior medical officer to the Auckland Hospital, was confirmed by the Hospital and Charitable ; Aid ' Board yesterday. Professor Scott, Otago University, who nominated Dr. Blair, spoke most highly of his capabilities and personal character. Dr. Blair has received his education in Dunedin University, and bis medical training at the Medical School, connected with the University. He will tnter on )i'w duties on Friday next.
