Wellington-, Monday.
Ik (he Magistrate's Court, Dr. McArthur, S.M., gave judgment in cases in which several companies were charged with failing to supply the Registrar of Companies with the annual list of members, and a summary specifying the particulars required by seclion 101 of the Companies Act, 1903. The prosecution had not pressed for a heavy penally, and His Worship inflicted a fine of 20s, with £3 10s costs in each case.
