Gisborne. Monday. The captain of the barqiientinc Tlma, which arrived from Newcastle yesterday, reports that the whole way across the Tnsman Sea smoke from (ho Australian bush fires was discernible. When about a thousand miles out from Newcastle a red glare illuminated the fskv at sunset.
