BOWLING TOURNAMENT.

Dunedi.v, Wednesday. Good progress was made with the bowling tournament:. The semi-finals in the rink championship leave Newton (Prince) and Kaitangata (Hislop) to play off. On Friday, Green Island (McDonald) and Southland (R. Taylor) will play off for third prize. Six rounds and a portion of the seventh round have been played in the doubles, and the semi-final will be taken on Friday morning. To-morrow will be devoted to singles, for which 144 entries have been received. The aggregate prize for the rink scoring the highest number of points in the rink championship but not being a prize-winner was won by Taieri (Mclntyre).
