THE GENERAL MANAGER. [BT TELEGRAPH.—r-RESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Saturday. Mb. A. Miohie, manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Dunediu, arrived in Wellington yesterday, and will act as general manager of the bank in place of Mr. A. Macintosh, who has been granted leave of absence until March next. Mr. Thomas, in«.p*etor for t,u> South Island, will act for Mr. Michic in Dunedin while that gentleman is stationed at headquarters. The period 0 , Mr. Macintosh's engagement with the bank will expire in June, next, and the IPc*t state* thai he has asked the directors to relieve him of office nt the end of the financial j eM -Mr. Macintosh will, the Post understands, shortly return to Australia.
