A vory pretty wedding was celebrated at l'erndale House, Kaukapakapa, on January >. when Miss Elsie Rapson was married to Mr. J. K. Field, of Richmond River (New ' U l es l- '-The oeremonv was performed by the. Rev. W. H. Speer. The bride's dress was a richly embroidered white musin with veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were two nieces of the brideMisses , Ivy and Jem Goodwin. Mr. J. -\U;tiithie, of Upper \Vaiwera, and Mr. R. UnHiths, of Mangawharo, were best man and groomsman respectively. The presents were, handsome and numerous.
