Lord Carkingtox, president of the Board of Agriculture, replying to a deputation of traders on Saturday, asking fo» the removal of lie restrictions on the importation of Canadian cattle, reiterated the views expressed last May by his predecessor, Mi-. Ailvryn Fellowes, and declined to withdraw the regulations.
In 1903 4 Canada sour 59,000 live cuttle and 2000 carcases to England. The restrictions referred to are intended to provide humane condition- in the transit of the cattle.
