THE LATE DEAN FOLEY.
[Br TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ■' Ohristchurch. Wednesday. A soleiln pontifical requiem mass was celebrated to-day at the Roman Catholic Cathedral to the memory of the late Dean Foley. Bishop Grimes was the celebrant, and he was.'assisted'.by 'clergy from all parts of the diocese,'- and also • several from the dioceses of Dunedin and Wellington. The bishop spoke very feelingly, in his address ,of the many virtues of the late dean. The body is expected to arrive at Lyttelton to-morrow by the Mararoa, and there will be a requiem mass in the cathedral. The funeral procession will leave the cathedral at eleven a.m. for the railway station, en route for Teinuka, where the burial will take place immediately on the arrival of the second express. , .
