PROrtT of £11,470 8s Id on the year's operations i 3 shown in the 24th annual bal-ance-sheet of the Canterbury Frozen Meat and Dairy Produce Export Company, Limited. It is proposed to transfer a-. balance of £6092 6s 8d at the debit of tho profit and loss account at November 30, 1904, to debit of the reserve fund account; to pay a further dividend of 3 per cent, on preference shares, making 6 per cent, for the year, and absorbing £2250; to pay a dividend on ordinary shares at the rate of 4 per cent., absorbing £4345 ss; to transfer £2000 to reserve fund account; and to carry forward £801; 17s 3d to next, year's account. "The profits made on the sale of land not required for the company's purposes, amounting Lo £3321' 14s 3d, have been passed tp the credit of works account, and were not shown in the profit and loss account. It was decided to add a; sum to the general reserve fund account. The total quantity of stock dealt with during the year was 692,011 head—257,744 at Belfast, 294,845 at Fairfield, and 139,442 at Pareora, a total decrease on the previous year of 10,577." .
