THE GOVERNOR.
His Excellency the Governor (Lord Plunket) was present at the Grammar School prize distribution last evening. Lady Plunket was also present. In the afternoon Her Ladyship presented the prizes at the Diocesan Girls' High School, Epsom. Lady Plunket will be present at a, Mothers' Union meeting at All Saints', Ponsonby, this afternoon. The Governor will be the guest of the Auckland Garrison Officers' Club at the qlub's rooms, Drill Hall, this evening. . A garden party will be given at Government House to-morrow. On Monday next Lord! and Lady Plunket will be present at the production of Mrs. Malcomson Boult's play, " Ivy of York," in His Majesty's Theatre. On Tuesday His Excellency will leave Auckland on an official visit to the Thames. He will also visit Waihi and Te Aroha. at dates yet to be fixed.
