POLICE COURT NEWS.

MISCELLANEOUS. At the Police Court yesterday, before Mr. S. J. Nathan, J.P., Sarah Turner, a girl under 15 years of age, was charged with being beyond her parents' control, and, on the application of Sub-Inspector Black, she was remanded. ' Alexander Walters was fined ss, and costs 7s, for leaving his vehicle unattended. On the application of his wife, a prohibition order was issued against Gerald Joseph Holt for 12 months. Robert J. Sinclair, a third offender, was lined £2 mid costs, in default 14- days' imprisonment, for, drunkenness. James MeLeod, a second offender, and one first offender, were each fined 20s and costs, in default seven days' imprisonment.
