FALL FROM A SCAFFOLDING.
. . A PAINTER INJURED. ": ' [by TELEGRAPH.—PRESS association.] ' "!',, ■. j,'.;-. ', Nelson, Tuesday. To-day. a painter named Walter De Frere, employed by Messrs. Savage and Sons painting the Girls' College, fell three storeys from the scaffolding. Fortunately the fall was broken by a m'acrocarpa hedge. Do Frero was much disfigured .about the face and head and seriously hurt, but no bones wore broken. The step-ladder OB which he was standing on the scaffold fell on him, striking his head and stunning him.
