London, November 21 y; The second-class cruiser Encounter will be commissioned to-morrow for the Australasian squadron. The third-class cruisers Katoomba. and Mildura, of the Australasian squadron, are shortly to be relieved. The Encounter is of 5800 tons, carries 11 giins. and has a speed of 21 knots. • The Katoomba and Mildura are third-class cruisers of 2757 tons, and they are to. be. relieved by the Pyramus and Pioneer, of the same rating, now on : their way to Sydney.
